Telecommunication solutions for information systems of network industries

This expert publication deals with the effective design of telematic systems from the least elaborated and still neglected part - the telecommunication environment, which is in many cases the most critical and costly component of the entire telematic solution. The method of designing telematics systems begins logically with an analysis of the proposed applications. For this analysis, the methodology of the UML modelling language is used, which is a guide for the structured design of telematics systems from the inventory of user requirements, to the definition of the basic actors of the system and their required functions, to object design, the design of processes captured in a sequence or state diagram. The UML captures the proposed telematics solution, thus eliminating misunderstandings, and as a by-product, basic documentation for the project is created, while multiple analysts can work on the project and share or exchange their conclusions. Any proposal must allow for future changes, higher versions and upgrades.
