Teaching foreign languages

Many factors influence changes in approaches to learning and teaching foreign languages, especially the latest findings of linguistics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, psychology of learning, pedagogy and empirical research in the field of foreign language didactics. However, the current demands that society places on foreign language teaching also play a role. This multidimensional view determined the character of the publication's processing: discusses selected current trends that can be described as significant in this area and presents the theoretical background of these concepts with regard to their use in foreign language teaching and the needs of language education in modern society. The publication is intended not only for university didacticians and students of foreign language teaching, but thanks to the connection of theory with concrete teaching methods and teaching activities, it can also become a source of inspiration for foreign language teachers in practice.
