Taming a Sweet-Toothed Man

Jakub is a doctor, a great gourmand and a bon vivant, but also incredibly unlucky. His relatively calm and ordinary life is disrupted by dozens of minor disasters, which are the cause of many comical situations. Despite his clumsiness and bad luck, the main character deals with all his difficulties with his own unique brand of humour—whether it's involuntary attempts to lose weight, a trip to a spa, a failed fling on a business trip, or unusual experiences with the family dog. Despite its light-hearted genre, the book offers space for brief reflection on the meaning of life.
