The stories of Svako Ragan from Brezova have become almost legendary. However, few people know that behind this literary character is Martin Lacko, a resident of Brezova whose difficult circumstances led him to trade at fairs, where he met interesting people. Thanks to his optimistic nature and ability to joke, he had many amusing experiences. At one of these fairs, he met the writer Elo Šándor, who decided to record both his stories and the tales that circulated about him. This is how the unforgettable trilogy was born, which was later made into a film. The text of this e-book is based on the original edition, with only minimal edits made.
