Stranger Things Mad Max

Twelve-year-old Maxine Mayfield doesn't have it easy. Her parents divorced and she was given into the care of her mother Susan, who remarried a strange dude named Neil Hargrove. It was nice that she got a cool brother Billy, but they moved from sunny California to the cold Hawkins, where it's not so cool and the family peace is not as it seems. There is a strong tension between Billy and Max's stepfather Neil that does not bode well, and the relationship between Billy and Max is not as rosy as it first appeared. To make it all work, the main character hides her sensitivity behind a tough image of a skater and troublemaker.?? She thinks that a bunch of boys from school, with whom she would like to be friends, will help her out of all this trouble. But Will is also part of the party, and his brain is controlled by the Shadow Monster, who has decided to attack.
