The ability to conduct research and process its results in the form of a professional text is one of the basic human skills crucial for the development of society. The publication offers a description of the process of processing student theses in individual steps that must be taken on the way to a quality result. The publication is intended for students and thesis supervisors. Students will use it as a guide through the process from choosing a topic, studying sources to conducting research and final editing of the text. It will serve as a guide for beginning supervisors to help them navigate the issues of academic writing and clarify their own role in supervising work. It will enable other leaders to further improve their work.

The publication contains six chapters focusing on individual phases of the work. The first chapter presents the initial steps in the preparations. The second one is devoted to the process of studying sources and preparing the theoretical part of the thesis. The third chapter focuses on the design and implementation of the research strategy described in the methodological part. The fourth chapter describes the procedure for collecting and analyzing the obtained data, the results of which will be presented in the analytical part of the thesis. The fifth chapter presents methods of evaluating the results in the final part of the thesis. Chapter 6 provides an overview of the final steps that must be taken into account in the final editing of the text and the completion of the volume.

The description of the process of writing and supervising student theses presented in this book is the result of the author' s many years of academic and pedagogical practice and experience with supervising student theses. Each subchapter contains a brief description of the individual steps, an outline of the division of responsibilities between students and supervisors, as well as a set of recommendations and practical advice. At the end of each chapter, a selection of examples of student work is presented as guidance or inspiration for users of the book.
