Spider web

Luke, a journeyman from Valletta, managed to escape happily from Prague, where he was repeatedly threatened for his life, with the help of his supporter Lorenzo Scorsini. What will his new home, Milan, bring him? A city of masters in the use of long knives, but also masters in the use of long knives. And why is the ruler of Milan and Lombardy, Galeazo Visconti, interested in him? And can the still physically weak Luke survive the Castello Nuovo, where people are trained to be both protectors for hire and some of the most skilled assassins? And has Luke retained his ability to climb walls and rooftops? And can chickens be as big as humans? And is Angela, Scorsini's daughter, forever lost to Lucas after her marriage to another man?
