Smuggler of Sri Lankan Dreams

Thirty-year-old Daniel arrives in Sri Lanka to lead the local branch of a Czech humanitarian organisation. It is February 2008, and the island has been mired in a bloody civil war between the government and Tamil separatists for a quarter of a century. Without warning, he finds himself caught in a web of conspiracy and ancient grievances, in the midst of a chaos where it's unclear who is who and which side they are on. Against the backdrop of the war, his own personal story begins to unfold, full of equally interesting situations and surprises.
