Sleeping Beatrice

An unknown virus is spreading across the world. It's impossible to tell where it will strike next, or who will collapse, unconscious, and when. The number of victims is growing every day, and scientists decide to move on to human trials. Eighteen-year-old Beatrice is among the volunteers who sign up as human guinea pigs, hoping to speed up the discovery of a cure and save her loved ones. At the research centre, Beatrice gets more involved than she ever expected. She befriends the son of a scientist who also wants to fight the virus. Together they try to find a cure, but of course, they can't be more successful than a team of specialists. Bea is dealing with her relationships with her friends and her mother, all while risking her life every day in the experiments. Will she manage to survive, help discover a cure, and save her loved ones – including the one she loves?
