Its leader, Břetislav Jan Procházka, has lived motoring since his youth: He imported American oils and service and garage equipment, and he and his brother built a modern "auto sanatorium". He linked his fate with the promotion of Škoda cars. For his daring long-distance drives, proving the reliability of the Škoda, he became known as the "mileage gobbler".
