Skandar and spiritual warfare
The thrilling conclusion to the hugely successful series is finally here!
The Island is at war. During the race for the Chaos Cup, a secret was revealed that changed everything. Skandar is now an outlaw, on the run. The Islanders don't know who to trust. One of Skandar's closest friends is now fighting for the enemy, and Skandar is forced to forge new alliances, including an uneasy truce with Kenna.
If Skandar and his friends want to defeat Rex, they must return to the Island's origins and master all the power of elemental magic. Can Skandar become the leader he needs to be to save the mainland and the very heart of the Island?
For readers aged ten and over.
Reviews of the book:
The main hero, Skandar, is good through and through, and it's easy to experience the story along with him. His friends are also interesting and bring their own problems to the story that they must solve. And of course, there are contradictory and treacherous characters whose motives slowly surface in later books.
- Děti noci on the entire Chaos Chronicles series
A story about bloodthirsty unicorns that can tear you to pieces if they don't like you isn't exactly the kind of fairytale you'd read before bed. But that makes it all the more thrilling for teenage readers. Who wouldn't want to have their own unicorn, learn to fly, and cast spells in a tournament?
