Sherwood Anderson: Night Teachers

Young George Willard wants to be a writer. But for now, he is just a newspaper reporter in the small American town of Winnesburg, and the only one who believes in his talent is his former teacher Kate Swift. But the literary and life demands that this passionate woman places on him are beyond him. And so George prefers to experience stories with other women. Real or just dreamed. And each of them teaches him something important. About himself, but mostly about him. Their loves are usually unfulfilled. With desires most often hidden in the darkness of the night and their own subconscious. Hence the title of the radio adaptation of Anderson's short story collection.
