She came at dawn

A small hamlet in the French countryside where time has stood still. Life here was never fair. Families suffer and grit their teeth. They have to live with the terrible phrase that follows them from birth until their dying day: that's just the way it is. But then, one day, Madelaine appears. A hungry, untamed girl who emerged from the woods. The villagers take her in and soon come to love her, because with Madelaine comes life, passion, and courage, but also a flame that could engulf their entire world.
