Shadows on the Silk Road

The Danish secret service is closely monitoring everything that could potentially pose a threat to the country. Now, a Chinese delegation is preparing to visit Denmark, and Daniel Hartmann, an analyst for the secret service, discovers that one of the arriving Chinese is hiding his true self under a false identity. His commanding officer, Maja Birková, tries to find out as much information as possible, while Daniel attempts to recruit a Chinese student, Qiu Ling, to infiltrate the group from the inside.
However, Qiu may have already been recruited by other people who have a vested interest in a Danish research project focused on the marine biotope in eastern Greenland. What do these people have planned? Can Daniel rely on Qiu, who appears to have found herself in a life-threatening double game? And can Qiu rely on the Danish secret service if she decides to risk everything and switch sides?
Shadows on the Silk Road is a highly topical, nerve-racking Danish spy thriller about the cynical enforcement of strategic plans and the people who are willing to risk their lives for Denmark and Greenland.
