Shadow of the Dark Queen - Murderers

Something dark is awakening in distant lands. The Ancient Powers prepare for the final confrontation, while the Dark Queen raises her banner and gathers armies of unrivalled strength, composed of reptilian creatures with magical powers. The shadow of her threat looms over all of Midkemia. Two unlikely heroes are drawn into the maelstrom of war against their will: Erik, the illegitimate son of a nobleman with an unclear future, and his friend Rup, a naughty swindler with a talent for trouble. Shadow of the Dark Queen - Assassins is the opening volume of the epic Serpent Saga by fantasy master Raymond E. Feist. It will transport you to a world where military strategy clashes with ancient magic, and where the chance to save an entire kingdom rests on the shoulders of a select few. Will they be able to avert doom, or will Midkemia fall prey to sinister forces?
