Scars and thorns

MAKING DEALS WITH DRAGONS NEVER PAYS OFF. AND TRYING TO STEAL FROM THEM IS EVEN WORSE…

Thorn has always been a bit of an outcast. She doesn’t look like the other villagers, she doesn’t act like them, and a simple life just isn’t for her. Quite the opposite, in fact. She wants to see the world, to experience adventure, excitement, and danger. But one should be careful what they wish for.

After one of her expeditions goes horribly wrong, Thorn finds herself a captive of the mysterious Luc, who wants to uncover all her secrets while refusing to even show his own face. Luc's volatile nature terrifies Thorn, yet she is irresistibly drawn to him, as if they were more alike than it might seem at first glance.

But sinister clouds are gathering over Luc's castle, and if he and Thorn are to defeat this new threat, they will both have to face the demons of their past and learn to trust each other…
