Premysl II. Otakar celebrates the fifteenth anniversary of his coronation as King of Bohemia. As a surprise, his wife Kunhuta, along with several leading grandees, throws him a lavish celebration at Křivoklát, where not only his loyal followers but also many foreign allies will gather. Among the guests is Oldřich of Chlum with his helper, the squire Otu. One of the highlights of the festival is the Knights' Tournament, which is attended by all the knights and the Czech King.
