Ranger's Apprentice - Book Fourteen - The Royal Ranger

King Duncan and Princess Cassandra are trapped in the south tower of Castle Araluen, forced to defend themselves against constant attacks from the Red Fox Clan. Meanwhile, Horace and the Ranger Gilan are besieged in an old fort in the north of the country. The only person who can save them all is Will's Ranger apprentice, Maddie. With the help of Hal, Thorn, and the other members of the Skandian Heron brotherband, Maddie must first free Horace and his soldiers from the fort.
