This publication, intended for students of education, presents general, developmental, educational, and social psychology with a focus on the younger and older school-age child.

This publication is intended for students of pedagogical disciplines – future teachers who will work with children of younger and older school age, i.e. primary school pupils.

The book gives students insight into the psychological disciplines from three perspectives: teacher-educator, who should be equipped with basic knowledge of general, developmental, educational and social psychology, as well as psychotherapy; teacher-trainer who should be familiar with the basic knowledge of occupational psychology; and the teacher-researcher, who should be familiar with the design and implementation of research activities in the pedagogical process.

The entire text is accompanied by numerous examples from the authors' practice and a rich annotation apparatus.
