Primary reading and writing

Teachers in practice and students of pedagogical disciplines will deepen their knowledge in the field of working with the living alphabet and the syllabary, what type of syllabary to choose, which tools can be used and how to approach the overall teaching of reading and writing. Attention is also paid to specific disorders in children, their causes and how much they affect the course of teaching.

The publication charts the latest research investigations, such as the speed of writing or the importance of the new Comenia Script. It also presents the results of the most recent research, which was carried out in 2016 and concerned the reading competences of children and pupils in primary and pre-primary education from the perspective of kindergarten and primary school teachers.
