Plague Testament - read by Martin Zahalka
An Italian student who began attending the rhetorical school of Henry of Isernia in Vyšehrad is suddenly murdered. His death is incomprehensible. He was not rich, he had no enemies, he had only been in Prague for two weeks. At the same time, the son of a wealthy patrician from Oldřich of Chlum, whose father had disappeared, comes to see him. Thanks to the personal intercession of the urburére Mikeš, Oldřich takes up the case, but at first he is in a quandary. It is Squire Ota who comes up with a hopeful hypothesis.
The Seal of Death - read by Jan Hyhlik
Oldřich of Chlum finds himself in the disfavour of the Bohemian king, but he is called to Prague to solve a seemingly simple case. The Lesser Town Hospital owns a deed of gift for three villages issued by Václav I, father of Přemysl Otakar II. and his predecessor on the royal throne. However, the king does not remember that his father ever donated to the hospital. The royal prosecutor begins to investigate the case and stumbles upon the murder of an Old Town bourgeois woman who had allowed herself to be supported by several wealthy men, including the High Chamberlain. And although there are no signs of this at first, Oldřich of Chlum soon discovers that the two crimes are closely linked. Slowly he begins to untangle a tangle of complex intrigues, which this time lead him into the winding and gloomy streets of Prague's Old Town.
The Mystery of the Golden Adit - read by Ales Procházka
Another of the stories of the royal prosecutor Oldřich of Chlum takes place this time around Prague. Originally it was supposed to await Oldřich of Chlum and his assistants at the court of Přemysl Otakar II. only a brief statesmanlike meeting, but soon after his arrival the King himself has him summoned in the middle of the night. On the way from the mines in Jílové near Prague, a chest full of gold was lost. The transport of a cargo of wealth worth the whole of North Bohemia was kept in strict secrecy. The gold was going into the hands of the Austrian lords and was to play an important role in the war against King Béla of Hungary. Suspicion will fall on the leading men of the Czech kingdom.
The Sign of Judas - read by Jan Hyhlik
An unprecedented crime has been committed at Prague Castle. One night, the provincial judge Dobřej was murdered right in the official palace and a dagger with satanic symbols was found in his body. King Přemysl II. Otakar has no confidence in the people at his court, so he entrusts the investigation to young Oldrich from Chlum. This, of course, displeases the provincial officials, especially when rumours begin to circulate that the king intends to entrust the Bezděz administrator with an influential office. The Prague purgrave accuses the nephew of the murdered man on his own and the king sentences the young man to death. But Oldrich of Chlum has his doubts. What was hidden in the lost file marked "Judas"...?
