Polish-Czech cognition as an exchange of values

This publication looks back at the rich tradition of Polish studies at Czech universities, while also highlighting the challenges associated with the development of this field in current conditions and looking towards the future. It summarises contributions from an international conference held in autumn 2023 to mark the centenary of Polish studies at Czech universities. The texts in this anniversary publication will acquaint readers not only with selected chapters from the history of Czech and Slovak Polish studies, but also contribute to formulating the goals and tasks facing Polish studies – and philology in general – today.
