Sara arrives at university, far from home, to begin her dream journalism degree. She wants to draw a line under her past, heal her broken heart, and forget what a heartless boy back home did to her.
Christian Hale is an architecture student at the same university. He seems like a reckless flirt and one day makes a bet with his friends that he can get Sara into bed within two weeks. However, Sara accidentally overhears their bet and decides to start playing a game with Christian.
Neither of them, however, expects to actually fall in love. Sara feels that a second betrayal from someone she lets get too close could completely destroy her mentally. And Christian is also hiding some unresolved issues from his past. But the more time the two of them spend together and the closer they get, the harder it seems to keep the other at arm's length.
