Pedagogy

The main aim of the textbook is to encourage creativity and to enable reflection on one's own learning through variable tasks and questions. It is therefore not simply a matter of mastering the theory of knowledge in the field of education and training, but above all a search for its meaning and development in different contexts. You will learn:

• to understand pedagogy as a science of man

• to understand the transformation of pedagogy in the 21st century with regard to the digitalisation of education and the outside world

• use critical thinking to evaluate changes, innovations and situations in the pedagogical process

The second edition of the book responds to the current changes in education and training in the context of the Industry 4.0 and Work 4.0 concepts. New information and tasks are included in the text to confirm the need for changes in this respect.

The book is intended primarily for students of secondary teacher education and students of teacher education at pedagogical and other faculties, but also for beginning teachers, educators and all others who have a thirst for knowledge and are interested in the journey of pedagogical theory and practice.
