Paths of Knights

The apparent struggle in the Kingdom of Bohemia in 1318 seemingly ceased. Partly as a result of general fatigue and partly as a result of agreements made between the king and the rebellious nobility. But the fight behind the scenes was even more heated. King John of Luxembourg is tired after eight years of reign. He feels lonely and the wolves in his kingdom are not diminishing. The indefatigable and extremely capable Henry of Lipá manages to gradually sway the king to his side and manages to convince him that Queen Eliška is plotting against him, together with her followers led by William the Hare of Valdek, to dethrone the king and install his three-year-old son Wenceslas. And so Jan and the armed men break into Loket Castle, where Eliška and her children have taken refuge.
