Owl

A baffling case of the brutal murder of a young girl

In a forest near Oslo, the body of a seventeen-year-old girl, who had previously gone missing from a home for troubled youths, is found in a strange nest made of owl feathers. The case is taken on by seasoned detective Holger Munch and his team. With a lack of clues, the investigation stalls, but then a mysterious hacker sends the murder squad's IT expert a recording that reveals disturbing details about the murdered girl's fate; the silhouette of a killer dressed as an owl, a nocturnal predator symbolising death, flickers at the edge of the video... And the hunt begins in earnest. Like Bjork's first novel, *I'm Travelling Alone*, *The Owl* once again delivers a well-thought-out, thrilling plot and delves deep beneath the surface of the human mind. It also takes us deeper into the private lives of detectives Holger Munch and Mia Krüger, who have already won over readers in many countries thanks to the hugely successful first instalment of the series. As they try to crack the baffling case and stop the brutal killer as quickly as possible, both investigators must also face a number of challenges posed by their personal lives.
