Overview of human anatomy and physiology

The publication provides an overview of the organ systems of the human body from both an anatomical and physiological perspective and is suitable as a basic textbook for a range of students in higher professional medical schools.

The chapters contain individual organ systems of the human body, the structure of which always includes introductory anatomical notes corresponding to the high school level of the curriculum, an anatomical part and a physiological part with a deeper treatment of the given organ system. The systematically presented knowledge also emphasizes Latin terminology with possible Greek equivalents. The text is continuously supplemented with schematic images, graphs and clear tables.
