Over her dead body.

A legacy that comes with a warning.

Ashley Brooks' life isn' t going exactly according to plan. After years of trying to make it in Hollywood, he' s still waiting for his big break. When fate leads her to the home of legendary casting director Louisa Lake George, Ashley thinks she' s finally found her luck: The grumpy old director knows about the casting for the unfilled role. But the aspiring actress doesn' t even have time to thank her, because the next day Louisa is dead. And right after that, Ashley is in for an even bigger shock - her new acquaintance has left everything to her.

Louise' s adult children are stunned by the situation and ready to fight for their money. Her nephew, on the other hand, tries to play the role of peacemaker, while Ashley deals with why Louisa left her entire fortune to a stranger - and whether it' s right to keep it. However, they soon discover that everyone, including the dead woman, is hiding something, and the mystery turns into a frantic effort to find out the truth before someone else dies.
