Operation Porcus

A wealthy Danish owner of several large pig farms has been missing for three weeks when, late one evening, someone rings the doorbell of journalist Michael Moll. Moll then finds an envelope on his doormat containing a photograph of the missing businessman, an invitation saying 'Come to me here tonight' and an address.

The journalist drives to the location, and events quickly escalate. It seems that Russian assassins might be behind it all. However, many clues also point to the involvement of radical animal rights activists. Moreover, the whole affair soon becomes personal for Moll as it also affects his nineteen-year-old daughter.

When clashes break out in the country between activists advocating for better conditions for farmed pigs and farmers protecting their farms, the Danish secret service and its agent, Christiane Mielcke, also begin to investigate the case. She soon discovers that Moll is more involved in the matter than he is willing to admit. However, both quickly realise that they cannot do without each other if they want to solve the case. Six dramatic days ultimately culminate in a horrific game of life and death.
