Oldřich Daněk: Rudolfinum Night

Oldřich Daňek's play has two heroes: the astronomer and mathematician Kepler and Rudolphine Prague. Kepler's life path, redeemed by mistakes and losses, is portrayed in the play as a path to freedom of spirit. The play links history with Keller's fate and the vivid theme of freedom with the problem of its fragility, preservation and development.
