A play by Czech actor Zdeněk Kryzánek
Part of this play was performed by the Jindřichův Hradec Drama Theatre in the summer of 2001 in the courtyard of the State Castle and Chateau in Jindřichův Hradec as part of the theatre collage Jindřichův Hradec Romance. It is a historical play about the history of Jindřichův Hradec shortly after the Prague defenestration. It tells the love story of a Jesuit seminary student Adam Václav Michna from Otradovice and his sweetheart Dornička from the Utraquist (Protestant) camp, the story of diplomat Vilém Slavata, who goes to petition Emperor Ferdinand, not to conquer the rebellious Protestant town of Jindřichův Hradec, and which the city will eventually conquer anyway, and the stories of the town's citizens - both Catholics and rebellious Utraquists. The rebels of the sub-army were doomed to lose their throats. The ruler Slavata was enlightened, he gave the rebels a reprieve, but he confiscated their assets and made a profit on the deal, to use today's expression, who, as you can see, keeps repeating itself. Only the Oklahomans remain.
