Nurses

In the 1930s, the Nightingale Hospital is a renowned institution where young women can train for the esteemed profession of nursing. Fate brings three very different young women together here. For the poor Dora, working at the hospital is a dream escape from a home where she is tormented by her hated stepfather. The aristocratic Millie fought for her place to avoid marriage. And the shy Helen, daughter of the hospital matron, has no other choice, but her perceived favouritism makes the other nurses despise her. The three outsiders become the most loyal of friends. However, life will not be kind to any of them.
