Multiculturalism

The publication describes and interprets the current state of multiculturalist theory and its political and educational applications. Various axiological positions, theoretical concepts and methodological approaches are represented, especially philosophical, pedagogical, psychological and sociological. < br> The first part of the book includes a critical assessment of the existing ways of understanding the key concept of multiculturalism and multiculturalism, a characterization of theoretical approaches to multiculturalism, as well as different concepts of implementing the multicultural idea in society. In the second part, special attention is paid to the role of education in overcoming the crisis of multiculturalism. Social changes and the extent of migration in the modern world require the development of new patterns of behaviour, establishing and maintaining relationships, meeting needs and solving social and cultural problems. This section seeks to show that the education system will always be one of the key sources of consensus and cooperation.
