Merchants of Kaidan is a strategic trading game with RPG elements for PC. You start with a modest amount of capital and a single cart, with the goal of building a thriving trading empire. Your task is to buy goods cheaply and sell them for a high price, but this is made more difficult by a complex dynamic market system. Your path to wealth is enhanced by four storylines and more than a hundred quests. The game is delivered as an electronic licence for the Steam platform.

For example, you can buy furs cheaply in the summer and hope to sell them for a higher price when winter comes, but you risk them being stolen during long-term storage. An alternative is to buy illegal herbs that can be smuggled into town for a large profit. In that case, however, you face the threat of guards, whom you can try to bribe or hope they don't find anything during an inspection.

A Dangerous World Full of Pitfalls

The world of Kaidan is dynamic and full of unexpected pitfalls. During your journey, you may encounter a number of random events that will directly affect your journey and trade. You may be caught in a storm at sea, while in the air there is the threat of a dragon attack or being ambushed on the road. Each type of transport – by road, sea and air – carries specific risks that you must take into account when planning your trade routes.
