Martyr Christi

The book Martyr Christi is a biographical and, in a broader sense, historical study dedicated to the Catholic priest, Jesuit, renowned preacher and editor Adolf Kajpro (1902-1959). The biographical chapters are supplemented by brief information on the legend of Kajper's sainthood and martyrdom and a presentation and inventory of his written works. The appendices are as complete as possible transcripts of documents that substantially document the course of Kajpr's life and provide autobiographical reflections or testimonies of other people about their experiences with him, how they remembered him and what their relationship to him was. In addition to its strictly scientific purposes, the monograph is also intended to serve the beatification process of Adolf Kajper.
