Lunulae

Lunulae, or the white half-moons on our nails, speak for us even when we are silent: most eloquently about our heart and blood. In his second poetry collection, Pavel Němec, with the perseverance and questing spirit of an alchemist, reveals the sensitivity and fragility of our claws – a predatory human's only predatory equipment – which must stand against the spines, tusks, and fangs of language.
