Lost in time

Lost in Time is an adventurous and introspective work of fiction about two people whose fate, after a small plane crash, throws them onto a deserted island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Marek and Dorota find themselves outside of civilisation, with no certainties, no plans, and no escape – reliant only on themselves, nature, and time, which suddenly flows differently.
The story is written day by day and consists of 365 consecutive episodes that capture the daily struggle for survival, the silence of the island, the slow process of self-discovery, and the gradual deepening of the relationship between two people who initially do not know each other but are gradually forced to trust one another.
The island becomes a place of trial, but also a refuge. A place where the noise of civilisation fades away, leaving only the questions that one can escape from in normal life – but not here.
Lost in Time is not just a story of survival. It is a story about slowing down, about freedom, about solitude, and about returning to the essence of life when one stops running from time and is left alone with it.
