Listening in a foreign language using multimedia

The aim of the publication is to present the role of multimedia in foreign language teaching and to show how it has an impact on strengthening students' communication skills, especially in listening comprehension. < br> The author discusses different methodological approaches to developing and consolidating this language skill, taking into account the different learning styles and learning strategies of students. Based on the results of research investigations, it investigates the status of listening comprehension in secondary school French language teaching, the success rate of students in comprehending spoken language and how the use of multimedia can contribute to the correct understanding of spoken language.
