Lighthouse

The light of a lighthouse on the rocky island of Eilean Mòr was to guide ships around the treacherous cliffs of Scotland's west coast. However, in December 1900 it suddenly went out.
A ship is sent to the island to find out why. But some surprising discoveries await her crew: the lighting mechanism is ready for operation, the rooms are tidy and lunch is ready on the table. Only the lighthouse keepers disappeared without a trace.
Further exploration reveals the destruction of one of the offshore jetties, a wrecked crane towering over the cliffs and iron railings broken from the concrete.
Everything is leading to its logical conclusion: lighthouse keepers were killed in the hurricane. But there was no storm around the island at the time...

What really happened in the dark heart of the North Atlantic?
Tragic accident? Murder?
Or perhaps something beyond human comprehension?
