Light against darkness

After the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, a huge wave of solidarity swept across Europe. The Czech Republic was no exception. Aid for Ukraine also came from ordinary people. In many respects, Czechia was among the leaders in delivering aid to the invaded country. Thanks to the enthusiasm and determination of individuals, new associations and groups were formed, making it their main mission to help the country and its society, which was being destroyed by a brutal war. This book is dedicated to the most prominent personalities and projects. It describes in great detail the work of the organisation Team 4 Ukraine, which provides direct humanitarian aid to civilians and specific material support to the defenders of Ukraine. It has been monitoring war crimes and producing security analyses for a long time. These also cover cyber security and information warfare. In addition, it actively promotes the exchange of information and experience between Ukraine and the Czech Republic in the security field.
