The Life of Faith - The Many Facets of the Church
an interdenominational monthly magazine published by the Christian Missionary Society

In the September issue you will find:

pastor and environmentalist Dave Bookless; care of creation; young and suicidal; Czech writing in Uganda and South Sudan; memories of L. Haller

* Dave Bookless: For God so loved the universe. (interview)
He grew up in India as a child of missionaries, was sent to boarding school at seven, and returned to England at ten. Whenever he felt lonely, he found solace in nature. He became more interested in caring for creation after the Lord God spoke to him unexpectedly at a garbage dump on a small island.

* topic: Caring not only for the sky
How much does faith influence our lifestyle? Is creation care related to mission? What if we replace the worship of God with the worship of nature? Does the gospel have relevance not only for humans but also for the rest of creation? Will there be animals in heaven?
Pavel Černý, Petr Raus and Jiří Bukovský reflect on the topic. A survey of Christians from different denominations completes the mosaic of opinions.
