Letters from Grandma

Jana will soon be thirty. She doesn' t really enjoy her job as a bank clerk, and her relationship with her boyfriend isn' t exactly ideal. She has just inherited an old house from her grandmother Anna, which will probably also bring a lot of worries. And while she tries to figure out what to do with the house and herself, letters that her grandmother wrote for her at the end of her life begin to arrive. Through them, Jana gets a glimpse into her grandmother' s thirteenth room and, thanks to this, gradually begins to look at her life with different eyes.
Anna lives in a small village near the German Sudetenland. It is October 1944 and she has just celebrated her eighteenth birthday. Instead of dancing, however, he helps hide partisans and faces the daily fear that the ongoing war brings. In addition, he is also experiencing his first – and seemingly fateful – love.
