A long time ago, a water sprite named Šupinka lived in Český Krumlov. He knew the town, its surroundings, and the Vltava river like the back of his hand. And because he had a good heart and never harmed anyone, even the little children were fond of him. For a piece of tasty cake, he would tell them stories about water sprites, river fairies, a headless ghost, the white lady, and other mysterious beings that teemed in the Český Krumlov region.
