Legendary Skoda 100/110
The history of the famous „ hundreds“ began in August 1969, when it took over the baton of the then-popular „ embe“. The Škoda 100/110 became the most widely used passenger car in Czechoslovakia. In Mladá Boleslav, over a million of them were produced between 1969 and 1977.
The book is mainly devoted to these cars, but also mentions their siblings: the Škoda 110 R coupe from the Kvasiny plant, the ÚVMV 1100 GT sports car from the Prague Research Institute and the Škoda Super Sport development study subsequently converted into a movie star named Ferat.
One of the chapters maps the development and the start of production of the Škoda 105/120, the last rear-engined Škoda cars.
