Tom Hodgkinson is an enthusiastic ukulele player, editor-in-chief of the bimonthly magazine Idler (Sloth), and author of The Lazy Parent, How to Be Lazy, The Good Old Days, The Book of Lazy Pleasures, and Entrepreneurship for Bohemians. Together with his partner, he founded the Idler Academy educational institute, where he runs a wide range of courses, from music and calligraphy to cooking and gardening to grammar, Latin and literature. After years in rural Devon, he now lives in London, where he runs his slow-moving business.
