Landscape of wrought iron crosses

The forged crosses represent typical small sacral monuments of the Šluknov region. The Šluknov region is the focus of the publication Landscape of Forged Crosses, which is rich in photographic material. The authors examine the issue from many angles - from iconography through the reasons and financial demands of establishing such monuments, they focus on their creators, the technology of their production and conservation and their care, bring their typology and finally an inventory of forged crosses in the Děčín region. The publication has been out of print for several years.
