Lady Detective

A detective story from post-war England
Good detectives are few and far between. And women dedicated to this craft are even rarer – but Fiola Fenomenová is exceptional in every way. What starts as a seemingly ordinary small-town murder case becomes a complex investigation. Fiola is on the trail of a dangerous gang led by the sophisticated Madame E. However, the investigation becomes complicated; she only has incompetent local police officers to help her, and at the same time, she must care for her colleague's daughter, sixteen-year-old Virginia. On top of that, the young, principled woman is also grappling with personal difficulties, and besides searching for criminals, she is mainly looking for a light in her own life.
