Kron's legacy
The final instalment of the trilogy set in the dystopian metropolis of Attiona City
The Downtown uprising brought freedom to the city below the Platform, but also hunger, violence, and the tyranny of a police state. Only now, with the Centre and Downtown irrevocably torn apart, does it become fully apparent that neither can survive without the other. The city teeters on the brink of collapse, and on the crumbling chessboard, a power game is unfolding that will decide who ends up buried beneath its ruins.
Luco Scarpa was given an opportunity to escape, but he traded it for a chance to deal one final blow to the Institute. John Arrows knows a losing battle when he sees one, but there are still a few security risks he must eliminate before abandoning the sinking ship. And Brea Kensington, the newly appointed Duquesa of the largest mafia gang below the Platform, is fully determined to finish what her mother never found the courage to do.
Attiona is living on borrowed time. More than ever, it needs its protector. The very one it buried itself.
About the book:
Kronos's Children was one of the most anticipated sci-fi books of the year, and it certainly did not disappoint the high expectations readers had after finishing The Kronos Project.
- Sarden on the novel Kronos's Children
Well-written, brilliantly thought out. Although I've had my fill of books about the hardships of post-apocalyptic life lately, The Kronos Project and its sequel, Kronos's Children, captivated me almost against my will.

Pavel Bareš
Pavel Bareš (b. 1994) lives close enough to Prague to consider himself a Praguer, but far enough away that suburban buses require him to have a Zone 1 ticket. By day, he is an English teacher; by night, an avid video gamer and comic book reader, a traveller, a sailor, a devoted Browncoat, and a lover of narrative RPGs. He doesn't sing in a band, but he used to have one. He used to get Fs in composition at school for going off-topic. Today, his editors scold him for the same thing. In 2017, he debuted with the novel The Kronos Project, followed by the sequels Kronos's Children (2019) and Kronos's Legacy (2021). He stepped outside this successful series with the enthusiastically received superhero thriller Meta (2020).
