Killer Golem
The Golem, Murders and the Secrets of Prague's Old Town
Rumour has it that in Prague's Jewish Quarter, Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel created an artificial servant and endowed it with incredible strength, allowing the golem to even kill. Coincidentally, a series of mysterious and brutal murders is spreading through Prague's Old Town. The townspeople blame the golem and want to attack and burn down the Jewish Quarter if the murders are not stopped. When the Old Town Mayor, Martin Krumphanzl, also becomes a victim of the mysterious killer, Lukáš Trobl of Květnice, a clerk at the provincial court, is assigned to investigate the case. He soon discovers that Rabbi Loew is being wrongly accused and that someone very powerful is behind the murders. However, everything becomes complicated, and Lukáš finds himself out of favour with the emperor himself…
