Jules Verne: The Kip Brothers

An adventure detective novel written by Jules Verne at the end of his life. The dramatic story of two innocently convicted sailors, the Kip brothers, who are sentenced to life imprisonment for the alleged murder of the captain of a British ship that sailed between New Zealand and Tasmania in the 1980s. The unblemished and honest lives of these two convicts prompt the ship's captain to begin untangling the tangle of miscarriage of justice and eventually, with a surprising argument, to convict the real murderers.
